“Intellectual growth should
commence at birth and cease only at death.” – Albert Einstein
One of the habits that I look
forward to strengthening is number six “Use technology to your advantage.” My current
technical knowledge is basic and in some cases primitive. I am excited to gain and
apply new technical knowledge and skills to increase my effectiveness as a
student and prospective educator. My greatest expectations for personal gain
from Web 2.0 include; building additional resources to strengthen, expand, and add
diversity to my learning and teaching toolbox.
I am looking forward to
creating and maintaining my blog. Blogging presents an exciting opportunity to
share and collaborate with fellow students and professionals. My confidence
regarding my technical ability has already increased after the successful and relatively
easy setup experience. I am eager to begin utilizing the knowledge and skills
gained from this course.
I agree with your choice of the sixth habit. I also would love to learn all of the options that my classroom has through technology. I cannot wait to see the new websites and software that we will discover in our course. Nice post!
ReplyDeleteMy technology skills are basic as well. When I was growing up we did not live in such a technology filled society and I am learning as time goes on. I just recently purchased my first smart phone and that took a while to learn. I am also excited about this class as I hope it enhances my abilities to use technology.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your post, especially with the incorporation of the Albert Einstein quote. I also went with the sixth habit, being able to use technology to my advantage. I am decent with the basics, but I am very eager to learn more in order to achieve proficiency and become a better educator. Good read and very well written.
